thank you for sharing your manifesto. it articulated something i've been feeling but couldn't put into words. the way critique becomes content, how we perform our dissent within the same system we claim to oppose. i think about the azores sometimes as a way of escaping this system. growing things. making art that doesn't need to be legible to an algorithm. anyway, thanks. -john

JOHN, THANK YOU for taking the time to read my piece. i fear it is somewhat misplaced among the many works that praise this source of creativity i am deeply fond of, yet which i find complicit, and for which i am equally responsible. i am in constant negotiation—can i love something while painfully aware of the ways its embedded within & perpeutates the very systems i wish to resist? am i a fraud? have i no shame? ... your hope for something beyond all this is a meaningful reminder. cheers, —yulia p.s. really dig your site
